Zoho Books – Integration Setup

This guide walks you through securely connecting your Zoho Books account to Antei. This enables automated syncing of contacts, invoices, expenses, and items for compliance monitoring and tax automation.

Authentication Method

Antei connects to Zoho Books using OAuth 2.0 authorization paired with your organization’s unique ID.

  • Type: OAuth 2.0 (Authorization Code Flow)
  • Permissions Required:
    • Read-only access to invoices, contacts, items, orders, and expenses
  • Org Identifier: Antei requires your Zoho Books Organization ID to complete the integration
  • Security: All tokens and OrgIDs are encrypted and scoped per workspace

🔐 Antei is SOC 2 compliant. All integration activity is logged and can be revoked anytime via the Zoho API Console.

Step-by-Step Setup

1. Navigate to Integrations → Zoho Books

In the Antei dashboard, open Integrations and click Connect Zoho Books.

2. Authorize Access via Zoho

You will be redirected to Zoho’s OAuth consent screen. Approve access for read-only scopes.

3. Add Organization ID

After authorization, input your Zoho Books Organization ID from:

Zoho Books → Settings → Organization Profile → Org ID

4. Configure Sync Settings

Choose your sync configuration:

  • Jurisdiction Mapping – assign country for the connected Zoho org
  • Historical Data Sync – sync last 3–12 months of invoices, orders, and expenses
  • Optional Filters – by customer tag, currency, or item type

✅ Antei only pulls necessary financial and compliance data. No write or webhook access is requested.

Verification & Testing

After configuration, Antei performs:

  • API Connectivity Check – Validates access to contacts, invoices, items
  • Data Preview – A small sync is run to confirm structure and tax mapping
  • Audit Log Entry – Events are logged under Settings → Logs
