# Gmail – Integration Scope

Antei integrates with Gmail to securely sync tax-relevant emails. These are used to detect compliance notices, government correspondence, and invoice confirmations that support tax operations.

## Syncing Scope

Gmail is a **read-only integration**. No messages are modified, and access is limited to selected labels or sender types.

## Data Access & Security

Antei connects using **OAuth 2.0 with Gmail’s limited read-only scopes**. Access is restricted to metadata from emails matching specific compliance patterns.
