# Google Calendar – Integration Scope

Antei integrates with Google Calendar to extract and manage scheduled events, enabling indirect tax workflows tied to appointments, sessions, and compliance-related triggers.

## Syncing Scope

Antei syncs structured calendar and event data using read-only scopes unless explicitly enabled for event creation.

## Actionable Scope

When enabled, Antei can create and update events in designated calendars as part of workflow triggers (e.g., tax deadline reminders or SOP follow-ups).

## Data Access & Security

Antei connects to Google using OAuth 2.0 and requests the **minimum required scopes**. All access tokens are encrypted and tied to your organization.

> We do not access personal calendar events or perform any write actions unless explicitly authorized by the user.
