# Zoho Mail – Integration Setup

This guide walks you through securely connecting your Zoho Mail account to Antei. This allows Antei to pull tax-relevant emails and notices automatically into your compliance workflows.

## Authentication Method

Antei connects to Zoho Mail using **OAuth 2.0** via Zoho's developer platform.

* **Type:** OAuth 2.0 (Authorization Code Flow)
* **Scopes Requested:**
  * Read-only access to headers, senders, attachments, and subject lines
* **Security:** No access to full content or unrelated personal folders
* **Data Handling:** Only metadata from filtered or configured folders is parsed

## Step-by-Step Setup

### 1. Navigate to Integrations → Zoho Mail

In the Antei dashboard, click on **Integrations**, then select **Connect Zoho Mail**.

### 2. Authorize Access via Zoho

You’ll be redirected to Zoho’s OAuth consent page. Approve access for email headers and metadata.

### 3. Configure Sync Preferences

Post-authorization, customize what Antei can ingest:

* **Folder Selection** – Choose only tax-relevant mailboxes
* **Sender Filtering** – Restrict sync to government or finance-related senders
* **Attachment Rules** – Enable PDF or XML parsing for tax notices

## Verification & Testing

Antei automatically runs:

* ✅ Header fetch and label test
* ✅ Attachment preview validation

**Does Antei access or store Zoho email content?**\
No. Only headers, timestamps, and attachments are synced — content is ignored unless explicitly configured.

**Can I customize the filters?**\

You can revoke access from Antei’s dashboard or from your Zoho Developer Console → Connected Apps.
