Workday – Integration Setup
This guide walks you through securely connecting your Workday account to Antei. Once connected, Antei will sync employee records to support entity assignment, jurisdictional compliance, and workflow visibility.
Authentication Method
Antei connects to Workday using OAuth 2.0 with scoped, read-only access.
- Type: OAuth 2.0 (Authorization Code Flow)
- Scopes Requested:
- Read-only access to employee directory and employment metadata
- Data Access: Limited to name, email, status, department, and location
- Security: Tokens are encrypted and access is scoped per workspace
🔐 Antei is SOC 2 compliant. Employee data is never written to or modified in Workday. All access is audit-logged.
Step-by-Step Setup
1. Navigate to Integrations → Workday
From the Antei dashboard, go to Integrations and click Connect Workday.
2. Authorize via Workday OAuth
You will be redirected to Workday’s OAuth consent screen. Approve access to allow Antei to read employee metadata.
3. Configure Employee Sync Settings
Once connected, define how Antei should ingest and use employee data:
- Entity Mapping – Map employees to legal entities for compliance scoping
- Jurisdiction Rules – Assign default country/state based on location fields
- Filter Logic – Choose to sync only active full-time or specific departments
✅ Only metadata is synced. Salary, payroll, and PII are never accessed or stored.
Verification & Testing
Antei will validate connection by:
- ✅ Fetching a sample employee profile
- ✅ Testing organizational mapping rules
- ✅ Logging activity in Settings → Logs
FAQs
What data is synced from Workday?
Only metadata including name, email, location, and department — used for compliance assignment and SOP mapping.
Does Antei access payroll data?
No. Salary, compensation, and other sensitive records are not accessed.
Can I choose which employees to sync?
Yes. You can apply filters by department, employment type, or location.
Can I revoke access?
Yes. You may disconnect at any time from Antei’s dashboard or revoke from Workday’s connected apps.
