Zoho People – Integration Setup

This guide outlines how to securely connect Zoho People with Antei to enable automated syncing of employee data for jurisdictional and compliance mapping.


Authentication Method

Antei uses OAuth 2.0 to connect to Zoho People with read-only access.

  • Type: OAuth 2.0 (Authorization Code Flow)
  • Scopes Requested:
    • Read-only access to employee directory metadata
  • Data Usage: Used to map entities, determine jurisdiction, and support HR-linked tax workflows
  • Security: Tokens are encrypted and all access is scoped per organization

🔐 Antei is SOC 2 compliant. No modifications are made to your Zoho People data.


Step-by-Step Setup

1. Navigate to Integrations → Zoho People

In the Antei dashboard, go to Integrations and click Connect Zoho People.


2. Authorize Access via Zoho

You’ll be redirected to Zoho’s OAuth consent screen. Select your Zoho People account and approve read-only employee access.


3. Configure Sync Filters

Post-authentication, customize:

  • Filter logic – Sync only active employees or specific departments
  • Jurisdiction mapping – Auto-link employees to countries/entities
  • Sync window – Option to fetch data from past 3, 6, or 12 months

✅ Only metadata is used. Salary and private details are never accessed.

Antei validates connection with:

What employee fields does Antei pull?
Name, email, status, department, designation, and location — all scoped for compliance workflows.

Does Antei access sensitive HR data?
No. Salary, benefits, and payroll information are never requested.

Can I disconnect Zoho People?
Yes — disconnect anytime from Antei or revoke access from Zoho’s connected apps dashboard.
