Scope
A clear overview of what data Antei syncs from and sends to Google Calendar, and how it’s used.
Google Calendar – Integration Scope
Antei integrates with Google Calendar to extract and manage scheduled events, enabling indirect tax workflows tied to appointments, sessions, and compliance-related triggers.
Syncing Scope
Antei syncs structured calendar and event data using read-only scopes unless explicitly enabled for event creation.
Data Type | Description | Frequency |
---|---|---|
Calendar | User’s primary and shared calendars, timezone, and visibility rules | Every 1 hour |
Events | Title, description, time, attendees, recurrence, and location data | Every 1 hour |
✓ Note: Only work-related events scoped to the entity are processed. Personal calendar data is excluded by default.
Actionable Scope
When enabled, Antei can create and update events in designated calendars as part of workflow triggers (e.g., tax deadline reminders or SOP follow-ups).
Action Type | Description | Trigger Source |
---|---|---|
Create Events | Schedule jurisdiction-specific notices or tasks | Workflow automations |
Update Events | Modify Antei-generated entries as deadlines evolve | Return calendar updates |
✓ Tip: Action scopes are optional and configurable per user or entity.
Data Access & Security
Antei connects to Google using OAuth 2.0 and requests the minimum required scopes. All access tokens are encrypted and tied to your organization.
We do not access personal calendar events or perform any write actions unless explicitly authorized by the user.
